Hey guys, thanks for the feedback.

Me and Greg are both pretty excited about this project, it's nice to have some battle related content to sink my teeth into as a writer.

Obviously, the people who frequent and post on a site like this are our target audience, so you criticisms on how these read are really important to me in how I write this shit. I know RM can devolve into less serious topics a lot of the time but I'm hopeful that the knowledgeable heads on here can push us in the right direction in making this the best possible product it can be.

Again, thanks for the props and all of the comments are greatly appreciated.

And yeah, at the people talking about the legacy or reputation of guys like Serius, Mook and Lux, you really have to consider that they were a product of their time. When these dudes were battling it was a much different platform with a considerably different audience and exposure model than we have today.

Straight up, the way that Serius capitalized on that platform, the way he engineered his style for Fight Klub and his creativity are just insane. He's a top 10 dude for me. What he accomplished during his prime in that era of battle rap is infinitely more impressive than what some of the people considered top tier are doing in this era of battle rap to me.

Serius Jones is easily one of the best ever. Whenever he battles you know everyone has their eyes on him, some of the strongest presence in battle rap.

Ya, I agree with the fun, informal style. These battle cats are personalities, like comic book heros and villains. I think the best way to capture or further emphasize that essence, that battle essence is to write as if you are conversating to a friend about the character, like if you were telling a tale or urban legend.

Serius was the man. My favorite battle rapper ever.
