    "Who is reignman??"

Reignman won the first MTV battle... he beat locksmith in the championship round

houston rocket reduce ya profit you not bulletproof duke you should stop it insteada dissin me you should learn how to use a topic before i use this tool to make you lose ya conscience!!!!

in my opinion while reignman does not have as much footage out as others on the list, he is fundamentally one of the illest to ever battle. his rhythm is supreme and he always knows where to place his rhymes... on top of that his word choice is excellent in that his rhymes are mostly 'perfect' rhymes instead of slant rhymes... his projection is great...hes got one of the best structural approaches and deliveries out there...and the scary part is that most of his output was around 5+ years ago

Lol, thanks man...I knew some people probably really wouldn't know Reign, but I posted for the Philly dudes on here (as I don't plan on posting all of them from here on out).

Dude was always one of my favorites, but was always under the radar, cuz he didn't look a certain way or wasnt really in your face with some type of "persona" or something...he just kind of quietly beat damn near everyone he battled, lol, his skillset was undeniable.

Almost like the black Real Deal of the early-mid 2000s or something, lol.

Yep, but I always thought Locksmith could have taken the final.

Agreed. The final was close. (I'd personally still give it to Reign, but could understand why some might give it to Locksmith)

Was the reed beef not that significant in his career or something? If not, it's glaringly absent.

It definitely wasn't THAT significant...and he also had beef with Joey Jihad, but both were squashed at later times.

I see what you're saying tho, but it was also one of my questions in the interview, and Reignman kind of alluded to the fact that each tried to make it out bigger than what it really was, to get people's attention, and that they get along now. He never really said he didn't want anything like that in there, he sort of just suggested it really wasn't all that important of a thing (as I had originally intended on including it).
