Math hasnt done enough to be considered a great. He only really got popular from that punch, they'll be remembered.

People that i'd say were the greats are the ones that have had influence and people have refenced like Soul Khan's (i think?), "I'll put (opponent) in a box..." pretty huge in battles these days, if you didnt keep up you wouldnt know where it came from. I've heard it in at least 10 different battles since the start of the year.

Errr... So what? Every memorable battler has at least one line that gets quoted over and over. Soul Khan wasn't even the one who originated the I'll put him in a box line. If anything he just diluted those lines ever being good again because people think it's funny to say "I'LL PUT HIM IN A BOX AND SO SO IS A FAGGOT." It isn't.

And I'm a big soul khan fan.

Nah im not saying every one on the list has to have had a quote-able. But someone who has blatently had an impact on the battle scene, not just by ripping someone up but influencing the way that other emcees approach battles, is a pretty big accomplishment tbh. SK was an example, in a similar way to people biting Diz' delievery these days.

Soul Khan also did the "Ten Points in scrabble" one in the same battle, so i thought it was him. But if you can shine some light on who it originated from please do.

If Murda Mook is already in the top 50 then Jae Millz should be as well, you gotta be joking me.

Millz RIPS fuckers apart when he battles.

Millz is in the top 50. I know its a long thread (with encyclopedia-like posts) but some of the questions have been answered throughout.

Reed is one of my all-time favorites, but as far as I know the biggest names he ever beat/battled were T-Rex and Kaboom (if you know differently, please let me know, cuz I would love to put Reed on).

Regardless of whether or not people COULD beat half the list, the list was chosen on what HAS transpired.

Had Bo Jackson not gotten injured he may have been the NFL's all-time leading rusher. Had Michael Jordan not taken 1 and a half seasons off the Bulls could have had 8 championships instead of 6.

I mean I get what you're sayin' man, but the list HAS to be chosen on facts, and not assumptions.
