ja rule is definatly better. he's a great lyricist, and well written, spoken poetic mc...he has a uniqe style that is either loved or hated by fans.

fifty cent is a wanabee ja rule and a hipocrite. the same things he criticizes ja for he does, and i personally think ja fathered his style...

the fuck is yo hobby, mami?
    highway robb'ry?
cause u got enough jewelry on yo body
    to buy a ferarri
    im like reuben, im sorry
    but i dont stutter
matter fact call me frank luv
cause i luv's to fuck ya

some straight fifty cent type shit...but it came from ja...

ive liked ja since he came out when i was in seventh grade, and still do now.

fifty cent is a flavor of the month, who sold records because he was shot. i remember people saying def jam execs went out and bought the dynasty so jay could outsell stankonia, yet when get rich or die tryin dropped, they were sold out everywhere for like a week, yet you couldnt find a person who had the album, unless they d'led it. and they had plenty of the edited version at wal mart, because i was almost tempted to grab it, and didnt, i can hear the whole edited cd on ks 107.5 any day of the week...he puts out singles and tells people to like it, and they do...fifty cent is able to manipulate you into likeing him, and disliking others, and thats because hip hop fans are fickle.

50 will say, ima gangsta, fuck a love song, fuck singing, yet he does it on every track,,,

ja is dedicated to the fans, and has never really sacraficed his artistic integrity, where as fifty's intentions are to get rich or die tryin, and thats what it is...

when RULE dropped alot of people on this site were like, ja's actually nice now, new york is hot, this is his greatest album, whill VVV and 336 were better, imo. and he always said it was a matter of time before people realized they were bein played.

im a fan of ja rule, i like some fifty cent, but being a fan of someone and likeing a select few songs are different, i think any true fan of hip hop, or music, will like and apreciate ja more, and will understand how fifty is a big part of the down fall of hip hop, even if not personally, but the whole money, a n r thing being held in higher regard to the actual music.

so vote ja rule, i could prolly go on for hours.

same goes for why any st lunatic is better than chingy, especally slo down.

ching a lingers albums are named after money, and his singles couldnt be any worse, ive never heard his albums, but he hasnt instilled enough interest in me to chek him out, so i cant say he completely sucks, but i dont like his singles and thats what i judge him on, if and when i hear his albums my opinion probally wont change.

  8. Neither, but if someone held a gun to my head: Ja Rule by a landslide.

I would perfer 50 cent if we are talking about "Power of a Dolla" days. But if we are talking about the presence, neither there both garbage lyricist.

I like both but if I had to choose it would be Ja Rule. Fifty is good but Ja has had better songs.

    1.6 feet underground
2.So much pain ft 2 Pac
    3. New York
    4. Gun Talk
    5. Story to tell
    6. Where I'm From ft Lloyd
    7. Clap back
    8. Race Against Time pt's 1 and 2

I could go on and on. And most of Ja's softer songs are listenable too. H e just get's too much hate cause of 50 =(.

    JA RULE
    50 CENT

Look at how similar they're names are. They're careers are pretty similar too. Banging start... but then starts doing too many lovey-dovey songs. 50 Cent is like Ja Rule, except he's doing it in half the time.

But honestly, if I had to choose, I'd go with 50...

If I made the site gay, why would you register on a gay site considering I was here before you?
