    my five:

    - differences
    - i'll do anything/i'm sorry
    - tell me do u wanna
    - do u remember?
    - same ole g

i finally listened to his album ginuwine... the bachelor ('pony' was the only song i was familiar with up to this point) after receiving it in a batch of cd's i ordered from amazon, and wow... i'm blown away.

he's had his fair share of hits over the years, but he didn't live up to all of his potential. not that he had a chance to be as big as his idols michael jackson and prince, but with that catchy one-word name, dance moves, overall appeal, etc... there's no telling how far he could have gone. part of that goes to the oft-mentioned split with timbaland. it's a shame, because i can't help but think how many more hits they could have brought us. he's gotten older, but do any of you think he still has it in him?

one thing i hate about some of his music though is the constant references to how he's a "g", correlating that letter with some supposed thug status [funny]. i'm curious about his background, because nothing about him seems hard to me. i think that's a corny angle to come from, and he's done it a lot.

shoulda stuck on a strict love tone and added some more pop-type dance joints

I never liked Ginuwine... just wanted to chime in and say that.

He's like Usher to me... based a career purely off of image, dance skills and sex appeal.

He bit my style of sculpting his body purely for sex, too... damn shark!

    usher's b-day = oct. 14th
    ginuwine's b-day = oct. 15th

both are high on that libran charm and romanticism

i think people often hold ginuwine's image, dancing skills, and sex appeal against him and underrate the rich velvetiness of his croon

    - none of your friend's business
    - stingy
    - what's so different
    - pony

some more ill tracks of his

usher's made some great tunes too

i don't see how anyone could not enjoy either of these two

"rich velvetiness of his croon?" Are you Brahman?

I couldn't tell at first, but nobody uses adjectives like that except you, Brahman... plus the zodiac reference gave you away, as well.

Hey, did you like my last statement about the 'body sculpting for sex?' I left that in there just for you.

^So you really think that if Usher couldn't dance, didn't have great abs and sang over average production that he would be just as successful??

Damn, let's just make him 6 inches shorter and White too while we're at it...

I think being a great dancer and a sex symbol only add to his appeal to fans. In fact, I think they obscure his vocal talent.

I've posted the YouTube clip of his "Georgia On My Mind" rendition.
I know you've seen it. The guy was in a tux and he wasn't dancing that night.
And he delivered a stirring performance of that song.

The kid's got chops. You just don't like him and that's fine, but say so...
Stop with this stuff about how he's hiding behind abs and dance steps.
