what does it even mean to be a technical rapper? seriously, shut up about the technicalities.

you think pac was a better rapper, good for you, that's great news, i'll tweet about it.

Technical means better wordplay, better delivery, flow, rhyme schemes.

I'm in the "not a Pac fan" camp, actually.

For me Pac is a lot like 50 Cent.

    How, you say? I'll explain.

You hear Pac or 50 on wax and you go "Meh, nothing special". But the first time I heard either of them on the microphone in a non rapping capacity, I realized that they are some of the most insightful people you'll ever hear. Ever heard a 50 Cent interview? That nigga is a goddamn genius. Same for Pac. I was memorized and absolutely fascinated by his ideas about the world and his worldview in general.

    His music....not so much.

he was a better artist than biggie, hands down.

the way he reached pretty much all struggling black males/females, no other rapper came close.

as for not having heard half of his stuff, you should, and then you might change the "best rapper ever heard" label.

pac reached the white middle class and spawned an entire generation of wiggers

he was a great great artist..i wouldnt limit his work to that of an MC or Rapper or whatever you want to call it..

you could take a world wide survey and ask people from all over the world who the greatest MC/Rapper was, and the answer would be Pac.

same goes with Hulk Hogan and Rasslin.

There's no reason to dislike his music...it's good. any excuse suggesting his lyricism(or lack of), content, or that all he had was charisma is just plain stupid. 'Tupac sucks' used to be the cool thing to say about a decade ago, not anymore. I can understand not liking him due to how his fanatics have somehow put you off...and even that's a stretch. He made good music. end of.

the rest of you should just shut the fuck up with the nauseating hip-hop 101 discussions and comparisons, you're all idiots and haven't a fucking clue.

If OP wasn't a rapper then maybe this thread would have credibility as just another person's opinion.

in a technical sense, yes, i'll admit it.

yet that doesn't necessarily make somebody better.

    i'm a rapper too. :scared:

no, i don't take it as serious as Ja and i'm nowhere near as good but i've been and still listen to a LOT of Hip Hop. more than the typical fan, i'd like to think.

    that's fair game opinion imo.
