More cardio. Really work on my abs.

I want a repeat of the sort of year I had in 2013. Really proud of my gains. Says a lot given my perfectionism.

    Goals are important.

I'm working towards fifty knuckle push ups in two minutes. It might not be much for some, but it's something for me. My cardio is miserable though. Let's just say I'd never be able to re-enlist with how much I smoke.

Yeah, good goal. That cardio is hidden strength.

I just want to strengthen my stabilizer muscles. Grip as well.

Right now I'm lifting for cardio purposes. After I'm done with this routine I'm gonna try the kettle bell for a few months. Joe Rogan swears by them and has been jacked for ages. Ultimately there are about 10 body fat % points that need to drop for me this year.

It's all about cutting for me this year.

Cardio and low weight, high reps.

low weight high reps help for definition, not cutting. building muscle will help for cutting.

unless you're counting explosive movements w/ lifting as part of the cardio, lifting heavy will help you more for cutting than more reps will

    Of course.

I was hoping that increasing the weight every week to where I'll be lifting heavier anyway....would help. I don't want to gain mass muscle, just get firm and defined.

    I'm a work in progress.

unless you're following a strict heavy lifting or bodybuilding program for building muscle for the purposes of competition, heavy lifting will only build definition and muscle tone for the normal person and, in turn, help you to burn fat.

don't worry about turning into a freak; you won't. lift heavy-ish and you'll do more for definition and tone than focusing on small, high rep weights.
