If any rappers deserve to be called poets, Treach and Vinnie of Naughty By Nature do. They fire off line after line chock-full of internal rhymes and alliterations, conjure detailed scenes, drop allusions, and display a reassuring knowledge of the world beyond hip-hop. If any poets deserve to be called rap stars it's this powerful trio (with DJ Kay Gee) from East Orange, New Jersey. On their third album, 1995's Poverty's Paradise, Naughty strikes up enough hard-edged partying in their smart lyrics and sharp beats to keep on top of the hip-hop core, while a handful of radio-ready tracks throw them into wider pastures just to remind everyone else they're also making marks on the pop charts. --Roni Sarig

It's truly amazing how hard this group fell-off. They were sure-fire for 3 albums. Was it Pac's death that did Treach in? Who knows. What I do know is Treach did indeed have one of the illest flows of all-time - bar-none. He took that tongue twisting to a new level, as he enunciated freaking perfect, and just ripped tracks like this to smithereens. Anway, enjoy - as you should.

i never really liked feel me flow, i thought it was the worst shit they did (then i heard jamboree), but yeah, treach's flow was amazing, vinnie was good, but he ust wasnt treach, i think u couldve picked a better track than feel me flow, anything from the first 2 albums wouldve been better

NBN always had those anthems that got stuck in your head.."O.P.P.", "Uptown Anthem", "Hip Hop Hooray", "Feel Me Flow", "Holiday"..Their singles were always the best tracks on their albums.

Word, that's one of my favourite songs..that shit was heartfelt.

"..if not for bad luck, i would have none"

"how will I do it? how will I make it? i won't, that's how"

Treach was so dope back then..what the fuck happened? It's seriously one of the worst cases of "falling off" ever.
