Wouldnt that be more agnostic than anything. Believing God may exists but unsure of which or what.

ok, idiot, there will never be all things having the same argon dates in a certain strata, because of difference in things, if the entire layer died at the exact same time, and was then sealed in a control atmosphere, then, maybe, just like the snail shell shit..there are inconsistencies with reason, and those reasons are explainable

i know how many mpg my car gets, and how many gallons my tank holds, so, i can pretty accurately gauge how many miles i can drive...but, that doesn't mean everysingle tank of gas is going to get me the exact same amount of miles, i might have to warm it up for longer in the morning, or wait at more light, drive up more hills...these are all given inconsistencies, but, if it's a drastic change like half the amount of miles, that means there is gaurenteed, something wrong with the car that you can observe, and nearly all "unexplained" inconsistencies are now explained

see that's you're problem, 10 years ago exercise and sports class...in college? you were going to be a Gym teacher...you need to enter the science of now instead of then

whatever dude...your "conclusions" are all 10-20 year old, old science, that yea, at one point that was the thought, from what technology could do, and even then, when they were coming to these findings, they were left scratching there heads because there were inconsistencies, now, there are virtually none, more research happened, and more undeniable facts presented...you are obviously stuck, religious in the original terms

And I’ve indicated otherwise where? Your comprehension has been found wanting yet again. The suspense is all but gone, I’m sorely disappointed.

And your analogy is irrelevant and quite remarkable. You would have us relate the fuel efficiency of your vehicle to the decay of isotopes in inorganic matter. How astonishing.

Yet we have here even more assumptions. How unsurprising. No, in high school, however, neither my masters nor bachelor degree has anything to do with teaching gym. But by all means continue with your speculation.

You exhibit similar attributes as have been discovered in sources regarded by not only yourself but NightmareX. Minor truths dispersed amongst misrepresentation and deceit, or complete ignorance, nevertheless unoriginal.

Is it that hard to believe that if someone doesn't have *obnoxious* beliefs, that I wouldn't have a problem with them? lol

Also, I think Busta and Breathless especially would agree, based on what I quoted, you really don't get the *point* of god at all.

Yeah i just copy pasted this

One of the objections which Evolution Deniers try to throw at scientists is the question "if humans evolved, why aren't we still evolving?" Even some of those who accept evolution think that homo sapiens will no longer evolve because we use technology and culture to insulate ourselves from the environmental, natural pressures which would otherwise drive evolutionary change. The truth is not only that humans will continue to evolve, but we can actually measure some of the fundamental changes which are occurring.
If there's one thing that's certain, it's that humans, like other living things, will continue to evolve. "Evolution is unstoppable," says Lawrence Moran of the University of Toronto in Canada. But that doesn't mean that humans are marching on a path toward becoming giant-brained, telepathic creatures out of Star Trek. All it means is that the human genome will continue to change from generation to generation.

A background mutation rate guarantees this process. Each baby's DNA carries about 130 new mutations. Most of them have no effect on our well-being.

    Source: Science, December 4, 2009

To be fair, this isn't quite evolution yet. Evolution is the change in allele frequency in a population over time, not changes between a single parent and a single offspring. Evolution wouldn't technically occur unless and until some of these variations spread through the population, changing from an isolated mutation or difference to a widespread trait. What we have here is the foundation for evolution -- a potential for evolution, if the environmental circumstances allow.

There's also more than just potential going on here, though, because whether we like it or not our environment does exert pressures on us and we can observe its impact by looking at differences in birth rates:

Even in affluent parts of the world like the United States, natural selection has not stopped. Subtle differences in people's health influence how many children they have and thus can gradually change entire populations.

In a report published online 26 October in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Stearns and his colleagues documented natural selection in 2238 U.S. women. The women were subjects in the Framingham Heart Study, which has tracked the health of thousands of people in Framingham, Massachusetts, since 1948. The scientists searched for traits that were correlated with having a higher number of children. Then they checked to see whether those traits tended to be passed down from mother to child--in other words, whether they were genetically based.

The scientists discovered that a handful of traits are indeed being favored by natural selection. Women with a genetic tendency for low cholesterol, for example, had more children on average than women with high cholesterol. A greater body weight was also linked with greater reproductive success, as was shorter height, lower blood pressure, an older age at menopause, and having one's first child at an earlier age.

The idea of humans continuing to evolve is obviously unacceptable for conservative Christians who have adopted a creationist ideology, but it also creates some problems for more liberal believers who accept science. Even if they have reconciled themselves with the ideas that humans evolved alongside and just like all other life on this planet -- and not all do -- they tend to assume that this evolution occurred to bring us to the point where we are now.

Evolution is treated as a process which had a goal, at least where homo sapiens is concerned, and that goal must be us. If that's the case, though, then it's hard to accept that we would change. The goal's been reached, we're here, and that's the end for human evolution -- right? If we continue to evolve, though, then either there is no goal or we aren't that goal

The absence of a goal to evolution is hard to reconcile with an involved, caring, interested god (or at least one that cares about us). The possibility of a goal that isn't us is a serious blow to an ego which is accustomed to believing that we are special, having been "created" (even if through evolution) in the image of an omnipotent supernatural deity. We can't be just another step on the path to the "real" goal, destined to fall by the wayside like Cro Magnon, right? We can't be just a part of the background scenery, providing context for the "real" goal which might be ants or beetles, right?

the focus wasn't on fuel efficiency, it was a pretty obvious comparison to explain how the decay of isotopes is actually affected by certain environmental states, and why there are sometimes inconsistencies, but when 90+ percent are coming out the same, then that is essential fact

what the fuck are you doing in the religion section of a rap forum with them degrees? seriously...get a job hippie

i'll take that as the pompous collegiate version of "you're a dick"

aside from traveling back in time to the "alleged" big bang (bet no one's ever finger quoted alleged in proper context before) with a camera with virtually infinite film and a 360 degree view, taking stop action shots (so as to be viewable in one human lifetime), and let it run, until the present day...you faith bound, bible raping cretins can learn all you want, but to deny concrete data patterns is only denying fact that doesn't need proving

accept the fact that god and evolution can co-exist in unison

and, you are shallow and pedantic
