In WWE's '15 Years of Raw' special magazine that was released on newsstands this past Tuesday, they put out a list on the top 15 reasons why WCW Monday Nitro failed. The Disco Inferno is the lone subject pictured in the feature. Here is the list:

    13. Anti-American Jim Duggan
    12. Chavo Guerrero & Pepe
    11. Vince Russo in the Pope Mobile

    16. WWE had some kind of hand in the monopoly of the wrestling business.

most of the those things listed were enjoyable.. this is wwe being wwe.. the same people who made a storyline of a midget their mainevent.

    15. Tony Schiavone he was a damn good announcer
    14. nWo 2000 loved it
    13. Anti-American Jim Duggan didnt care for it
    12. Chavo Guerrero & Pepe hilarious
    11. Vince Russo in the Pope Mobile went with his character
    10. Matches in the Mall of America great idea
    09. Finger Poke of Doom (Kevin Nash drops to the mat to lose his title after Hulk Hogan pokes him on 1/4/99 Nitro) shock tv
    08. The Magnificent Seven (2001 faction consisting of Ric Flair, Scott Steiner, Rick Steiner, Jeff Jarrett, Lex Luger, Buff Bagwell and Road Warrior Animal) nothing wrong with it.. dont really remember it
    07. "Crazy" Ric Flair when isnt flair crazy?
    06. New Blood vs. The Millionaires GREAT STORYLINE.. took some wrong turns, but had a lot of potential

Pushing Kidman to the main event out of nowhere should've been on there. I remember watching then and thinking what the fuck..

You don't remember the Magnificent 7? They had the funeral for Goldbergs career on one Nitro. It was towards the end of WCW, I think they moved onto killing the careers of the Insiders (DDP and Nash)

Schiavone only sucked after they started telling him exactly what to say, which led to every Nitro being the BIGGEST EVENT IN THE HISTORY OF EVERYTHING.

New Blood was great for one episode, then it started sucking.

I actually liked the fingerpoke of doooom. People who say Nash killed WCW need to shut the fuck up.

But yeah, the rest were pretty bad. Especially Mongo McMichael.

He pioneered the Don West style. For some reason though I think Don West is easily excited in real life though.

I AM OUTRAGED. Chavo Guerrero & Pepe are one of the top 15 reasons TV-wise why WCW failed? Do they have numbers to back up their claims? Were they and Disco Inferno that unpopular that people tuned out when they seen him? Well, I'll give them that since Raw was on TV at the same time during Nitro, and people switched back and forth, they could have been less watched by the masses... but this is just instinct.

I can see why they said Tony Schiavone, I'd assume they're boiling it down to the BUTTS IN THE SEATS stuff.

Where is Eric Bischoff on this list? That's a surprise they didn't put him on it even if it were true or not.

Rock I wouldn't say wants nothing to do with them but he really wants nothing to do with wrestling period it seems. I think he wants to have an acting career that actually goes somewhere. Sting would've been in the WWE already had they given him a reduced schedule.

Goldberg probably wants nothing to do with anybody unless they allow him to destroy the roster and also give him ARod money. Lesnar will be back eventually I believe though

I think WCW did a good enough job themselves fucking up nWo though
