i luv em
this shit is wack
his music for the last 10 years have been like this
RIP em 99-03
may be the first Em album i dont buy.
Sucks. Totally fucking sucks. Sounds like Eminem featuring on a Rhianna song, not the other way around.
Pop bitches are going to buy this in droves though.
The new album should be called Recovery 2 rather than MMLP 2. .
nigga me or u didnt know about em in 96, stop it
and 04 is when encore came out
Dang nikka, he dropped Infinite in 96, so he was making solid good rap music since 96...
And Encore was good, it was good.. It was better than Blueprint 3. It had Mockingbird, YBR, 1 Shot 2 Shots, Ass Like That, Ricky Tic Toc.
nah besides that murder murder song i dont fuck wit infinite at all
wait encore was good?????????????????????????
lmaoooo 3/4ths of it was wack.
mosh, toy soldiers, yellow brick road and mockingbird
Infinite was a great pre-debut album. Plus the shit he released, the freestyles he did circa 1996.
Encore wasn't perfect but yeah... it was nice, he didn't fell off by then.
yes he did fall off with encore bruh
trust me, i was around for it
encore started off dope with evil deeds, never enough, yellow brick road, toy soldiers, mosh, then it got really corny, and finished strong with 1 shot, 2 shot, mockingbird, spend some time, and the title track.
Proof's passing happened. Abusing drugs happened. Reaching sobriety happened. Us sheeple of stans expecting Em to drop six mics albums every time.
People expecting Eminem, the largest selling rap artist to date maybe?, to drop anything but music that appeals to the Masses, are crazy. You want that coming from nothing sound again. It ain't gonna happen. The dude doesn't even know what its like to live a normal life anymore. As this song explains. Also that the thing he loves is killing him, like it's killing him that he just can't get it right anymore. But to say that song is bad, is going a bit far. It's catchy, and the lyrics are on point.
All I can say, is I'm happy he's not relying on the accent anymore, that he's not screaming over the entire track, and that he's not saying "in other words" to describe his metaphors. Oh and the fast food talk. Idk his that even became a problem. But ruining that t.i. Song with that was whack, and that's exactly why t.i. Added them last few bars that said "and on my throne I remain" because eminems verse didn't renegade him.
And that's why Eminem released the whole solo version of the song saying something about "anyone's gonna tell me to stick to my guns, it's you, but fuck it tip is cool, I'm chillin like a villain like a penguin in his ducking igloo eating fudgecicles" or whatever it was.
I think I was the only one who caught that shit. Them last few bars T.I. Put on that track I don't think Em knew about til after. I could be wrong.
In the end, Eminem is battling with not being as good as he was. People gotta just remember he's a millionaire in his 40s. The music CAN'T be like it was...
Oh and just like every band that its members suddenly got sober. The sober music just ain't as good as the doped up music. Straight up.

This, 100%. Well said.
A belated welcome to RM.
Jay-Z is rich as fuck, old and married to a beautiful r&b diva pop star... he's all happy, balanced and fulfilled, disconnected from reality and the common man, but he can still write/flow, and his music is still good to me.
It's not about faking poverty and faking hungry, it's just about killing it, being on-point and being about something.
I agree about Proof passing and sobriety, though.
