    Sometimes Eddie's genius is overlooked because of the faggots that followed and made it all cliche, but when you listen to what people were making up to the point of VH's first album, it really comes into perspective. It's crazy how one guy can just arrive on the scene and go "you know what, you're all doing it wrong; THIS is how you play guitar." The guy's STILL good, it's just that all of his singers suck worse.

    I probably mentioned it already, but my favorite EVH riff: black and blue.

    That song has some fun guitar parts to play. I like his love for weird noise.
