Ux9 you know I'm with you on most things. But I think you've got to rethink the time limit thing. I think it does make an impact. For instance - in round two after Shotty's verse, I was thinking, "wonder if he choked - that seemed short." But it turned out it wasn't. Shotty went 3:30. Just seemed short cause Ars went so long. The cumulative effect of this is that, as long as the rounds aren't garbage, the rapper who raps longer gets the momentum. By the end, it seemed like Ars had totally out rapped Shotty, but it was in large part due to the number of bars spit. Basically it diminished Shotty's rounds and skews the judging.
